Kenny Dumu, TKI Transport Superintendent, heads up the internal training programme for employees who operate vehicles within their job role. This ranges from Kenworth T659s to Nissan Navarra Utes. Kenny ensures our operators can not only demonstrate practical skills while driving, but also understand the theory behind safe driving behaviour.
Kenny utilizes a full digital method of examination, working closely with the Quality Assurance Team, they developed a comprehensive inspection programme based on a tablet form that addresses the key focuses of safe driving. The Results are live fed back to head office for review and approval, or in some cases candidates require further training before undertaking driving duties.
Kenny has been a convoy operator and supervisor for over 15 years and understands the importance of passing on his knowledge and safe practices to his fellow team members. TKI congratulate Kenny on stepping up and assuming the role within internal training, a task that is at the forefront of our safety commitment.
