TKI’s principle client, Ok Tedi Mining Limited is conducting their yearly safety week highlighting vehicle usage and the risk associated with such activities.
Throughout the week, TKI will cover various themes including vehicle safety, passenger / driver interaction, risks, hazards and over all safe practice.
This morning, Zachariah Yaot – Safety Superintendent and Patrick Enda – HR Manager, led a company pre-start. Opening with a prayer they then covered the program for the week, essential safety tips and risks / hazards identified with driving. Zachariah then guided all team members who drive or are associated with driving through correct vehicle pre-start procedure and key components to check using TKI’s integrated digital system.
The team will be running various awareness sessions on vehicle usage to ensure that TKI as a business and team operate in the safest possible capacity.
